Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan businessmen can export agricultural products, beverages and other goods to the US market, with the mediation of the American Agency for International Development (USAID).
This information was released yesterday by the interim minister adviser to the US Embassy in Angola, Christopher Hattayer, noting that that country has supported efforts to increase economic growth in Angola since 2021, through the Africa Trade and Investment Center. Austral (USAID TradeHub).
Exports of Angolan products to the North American market will be facilitated by the African Growth and Opportunities Agreement (AGOA), where national products must meet the various requirements to become eligible, said the American diplomat.
Speaking at an event to publicize the activities of the USAID Trade Hub, the US diplomat said that, in addition to the US market, there are mediation actions to boost the export of products from Angola to South Africa.
