University professor launches work "Public Civil Responsibility"

Africa-Press – Angola. Jurist and university professor Edgar Domingos launched on Friday, in the city of Uíge, the scientific work entitled “Public Civil Responsibility”, in an event held at Kimpa Vita University.

The book, which has 193 pages, divided into four chapters, addresses the ways in which individuals should use to demand compensation from the State for damage, in the event of a violation of their rights.

This is the second work by the author, who is also a lawyer, after the book “Direito Procedual Civil à Ação Executiva”, released in 2021.

When speaking at the launch of the work, the author said that the book results from the observation of cases that occur in the country, in which there are many cases of malfunctioning of public services.

The book launch event was attended by university teachers and students, judges, among other guests.

Born in the province of Cuanza Norte, Edgar da Cruz Domingos has a master’s degree in Civil Law from the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University (UAN) and a degree from the Faculty of Law of Kimpa Vita University.

Edgar Domingos teaches the subjects of Real Rights, Civil Procedure II (Executive Action) and Appeals, at Kimpa Vita University.
