Africa-Press – Angola. After the presentation of the Figurative Letters that enable him to perform the functions of the country’s maximum representative in Senegal, Adão Pinto, Angola’s designated ambassador, was approached by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, especially for the additional areas of potential cooperation, such as hydrocarbon management.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the ceremony held Thursday in Dakar, Aissata Tall Sall, who received the Figurative Letters, also analyzed regional security, the organization of local elections and the Joint Action Plan in the African Union, with a view to solving regional problems.
Adão Pinto was appointed by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on 5 January last, to the post of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Angola in Senegal.
