Africa-Press – Angola. CD Ngueto Maka, from the province of Uíge, beat Escorpião de Viana, 43-31, making it three consecutive victories in the National Senior Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Championship.

The challenge was part of the 3rd round of the competition, which takes place in the Cidadela pavilion.

The game was equal in the first quarter at ten points.

The Uíge team won the second and third quarters (14-2 and 11-4) and lost the last (8-15).

Isaías Messo, from Clube Desportivo Ngueto Maka, was the best scorer of the match, scoring 20 points.

On the 4th, 5th and 6th the games of the second phase of the championship will take place, where the two best classified teams from each group of the first stage will compete.

Remember, the association from the province of Uíge is the holder of the scepter.

Misto de Cabinda is the most titled team with six trophies, followed by CD Ngueto Maka, with five, while Scorpions de Viana won three cups.

Series A – Clube Desportivo Ngueto Maka occupies first place, with six points, Esporpões de Viana, second with five, CRP de Viana third with four and Misto do Cuanza Sul, last with three.

Series B – Mártires do Kuito leads with six points, followed by Obra Social de Maxinde (five) and Misto de Cabinda (four).

Misto do Huambo is last overall, with three points.
