Africa-Press – Angola. Angola administered, in the last 24 hours, 17,188 doses of vaccines, in different Vaccination Posts of High Performance, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP), distributed yesterday to the press.
The provinces with the highest daily production were Uíge, with 3,571; Huila, 3,326; Huambo, 1576; Moxico, 1,547 and Cuanza-Sul with 1,078.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in the country, in March 2021, 18,289,513 doses have already been administered, with a rate of 33.33 percent of the target population (age 12 years or older).
Of the 18,289,513 vaccinated citizens, 6,892,812 have full doses and 12,041,391 just one dose.
According to the DNSP bulletin, the Vaccination Program plans to immunize a total of 20,754,946 of the eligible population.
