Africa-Press – Angola. The carrying out of actions to exchange experiences allowed the musician Paulo Flores to interact, on Tuesday, with the artistic class in the province of Benguela, at the Oficina Artesanal – Centro de Artes e Cultura, located in Praia Morena.

Paulo Flores is in the city of Benguela for another show, part of the national tour “Angola que Canta”, which marks the musician’s 36-year career, whose objective is also to promote rapprochement between renowned artists and new talents.

The author of the hit “Inocente” was welcomed by artists, leaders of associations and local cultural movements. The coordinator of the Craft Workshop, Ivair Coimbra, said that the sharing of knowledge was productive.

Ivair Coimbra explained that Paulo Flores is an easy-going person and made the activity program interactive with local artists about overcoming programs, promoting activities and exchanges.

The coordinator of the Craft Workshop hopes that the musician’s visit can consolidate the good relationships that exist between local artists and generate the desired results.

During the meeting, he explained, Paulo Flores smiled, sang, hugged and filmed some souvenirs. The official said that Paulo Flores became one of the greatest references in Angolan music, in particular, and in the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) in general.

For Ivair Coimbra, Paulo Flores is an artist who was born to give of himself to the people. He stated that Paulo Flores’ visit to the Oficina Artesanal should be seen as an open door to attract other renowned artists.

During his visit, Paulo Flores interacted with figures linked to cultural makers, such as cultural journalists Chico Rasgado, Zé Manuel and Hélvio Vidal. He praised the presence of poet Júlia Lima, who has been a partner.
