Africa-Press – Angola. The Secretary of State for Justice, Osvaldo Benza Amaro, made a commitment on Friday in Luanda to continue working with the Ministry of National Defense, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland in various programs of common interest, with the aim of continuously improving, informing and training employees in the sector.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the National Defence and Security Course, taught by the National Defence Institute (IDN), Osvaldo Amaro stressed that the course is an important tool that will provide technicians with a greater insight into the administrative assumptions that contribute to decision-making in carrying out actions concerning the implementation of public policies in matters of National Security and Defence.

The activity is part of a set of training actions carried out by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, with the aim of reinforcing knowledge in the Justice sector.

Among the various modules taught throughout the course, “Data Management” stands out as one of the most important, taking into account the collection, analysis and processing of information, as well as the issuing of documents.

“It is necessary to ensure that employees with access to computer databases, as well as physical documentation, are equipped with the necessary knowledge to ensure their use within the legal framework, thus contributing to strengthening sovereignty in confidential matters,” he said.

The Secretary of State for National Defense, José de Lima, stressed that the course aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of officials in the field of Defense and National Security, for more effective action.

The course was divided into six modules: “Security Culture”, “Bearers of State Secrets”, “Administrative Procedures of Defense and Security Agencies”, “Ethics and Integration in Defense and Security Agencies”, “Preparation of International Meetings and Etiquette”, “Protocol and Ceremonial”, in addition to around 90 conferences.
