Africa-Press – Angola. The country will soon have a Marketing and Advertising School, a project that will involve the Journalists Training Center (Cefojor), announced Thursday (28), in Luanda, the Secretary of State for Social Communication.
Nuno Caldas Albino explained that the aforementioned school will respond to the main challenges relating to the training and overcoming of staff in the Marketing and Advertising market, with a view to the next general elections.
The Secretary of State said that the Executive recognizes the importance of the advertising industry to boost the diversification of the economy and continue to support and encourage the emergence of more actors in the advertising market, such as advertisers, advertising agencies and communication vehicles.
Nuno Caldas Albino stressed that the advertising industry has conquered its space, where it has contributed to the structuring and construction of social thinking, formation of society’s ethical conscience and has become part of the context of the business and social world through the media.
The Secretary of State acknowledged that the advertising industry has become an activity that generates employment, which encourages competition, innovations in products, services, freedom of the press and finances, in whole or in part, the media.
The Secretary of State also added that the Ministry will continue to work on disseminating the law and promoting an open and sincere dialogue with operators in the sector. “The idea is to have better results for the market, a clear sign of openness based on the spirit of participatory governance”, concluded Nuno Caldas.
