Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Angolan Renaissance Party (PRA-JA Servir Angola), defended, on Saturday, in the municipality of Cacuaco, province of Luanda, the need for the country’s leaders to be regularly close to the population, in order to have a vision of the real social and economic situation of the citizens.Abel Epalanga Chivukuvuku, who was speaking at the end of a field trip held inside the informal Kikolo market, walked through some streets and interacted with vendors about the importance of local authorities in the country, explained their reasons, spoke about the requirements, benefits and the role of the Government in this process.
“Receiving wonderful reports can often not correspond with reality, that is why we have the philosophy of seeing, listening and sharing, while also passing on messages of hope to the people,” he said.
The leader of the country’s newest political party addressed the population, among other issues, the problem of unemployment. To resolve these problems, Chivukuvuku stressed that the people can count on his party’s strength.
Next week, according to the program put forward by the party leader, the caravan will work in the province of Uíge, and every seven days, PRA-JA Servir Angola will carry out field trips of this kind.
Asked about the future of the FPU project, since on the seventh of this month, PRA-JA was designated a political party by the Constitutional Court, Abel Chivukuvuku clarified that the withdrawal of parties from the project should be seen as a legitimate issue, in which each leader, namely, Adalberto Costa Júnior, for UNITA and Filomeno Vieira Dias for the Democratic Bloc, feel free.
“I cannot get involved in other people’s heads, what I can say here is that we, the PRA-JA, will serve Angola”, he stressed, in the perspective of there being any weakness on the part of the FPU members, although he considers it legitimate.
