Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA Secretary General Álvaro Daniel said on Monday in Luanda that the Revolutionary United Youth of Angola (JURA), the party’s youth wing, must strengthen the political, ideological and revolutionary conditions for the challenges facing the country.Álvaro Daniel made these statements at the central event celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of JURA, which was celebrated yesterday and will run until 15 December of this year, under the motto “50 years of fighting for young people and for Angola”.
The politician therefore said that the party’s young people must necessarily act with discipline, dedication to their responsibilities, missions and tasks, as well as being the true bastions of Muangai’s ideals.
“This is where your struggle lies, and you can win it if you have the ability to mobilize votes for UNITA. Therefore, today’s mobilization requires a lot of innovation, some knowledge and, above all, a lot of availability from young people,” he appealed.
In his speech, Álvaro Chikwamanga Daniel reinforced, on the other hand, that JURA’s fight is also about defending democratic institutions.
“In turn, the deputy secretary general of JURA, Bonifácio Milhão, stressed that merit and equal opportunities are essential values to ensure that every young Angolan has the chance to prosper and, therefore, contribute with the best of themselves, regardless of their origins.
“We believe that a society where every citizen has a fair opportunity is a stronger, more united and prosperous society. Solidarity and dignity teach us that we must support each other, especially in difficult times. The dignity of every Angolan must be respected and valued,” argued the leader.
