Africa-Press – Angola. TAAG-Angola Airlines inaugurated commercial flights to Cabinda, from Doutor António Agostinho Neto International Airport.The inaugural Luanda/Cabinda trip carried 92 passengers.
Press has learned that there will be four flights every day between the provinces of Luanda and Cabinda.
Several entities were present at the opening ceremony, including the Minister of Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, who said that the provinces in the east of the country will be the next in this phase of transfers.
The aircraft has a capacity of 120 seats. Twelve are in business class and 108 in economy class. The expected load capacity is 490 kilograms on the outbound flight alone.
According to recent data provided by the management of the national flag carrier, the Luanda – Cabinda – Luanda route is the one that moves the most passengers domestically.
