At the meeting, the deputy also admitted that it is necessary to adapt the Party to the new political-administrative reality, which will culminate in the transformation of communal structures into municipalities, namely Palanca, Hoque, Viti Vivali, Chituto, Capunda Cavilongo, Chicungo, Capelongo, Dongo and Galang.Augusto Samuel made it known that in the coming days they will appoint secretaries and their deputies, who will have the mission of constituting their municipal “executives”.

He reiterated that “the institutionalization of local authorities, in UNITA’s view, is the solution, instead of creating more municipalities, as it is the best way to combat asymmetries and promote the development of local communities, which makes it possible to combat hunger and poverty, efficiently”.
