Social Security Institute Expects to Include over 4M Workers by 2027

Africa-Press – Angola. The head of the National Social Security Institute (INSS), Anselmo Monteiro, announced on Monday, in Luanda, that his institution expects to include more than 4 million new workers in its database by 2027.

The official who was speaking to the press on the occasion of the signing of an agreement with the “Carrinho group”, which aims to guarantee the social security of this Angolan group’s employees.

On the occasion, the administrator of Grupo Carrinho, Samuel Candundo, explained that the memorandum aims to include Angolans who carry out agricultural activities, within the framework of an agro-development program.

He stressed that this will benefit those who promote agriculture and sell their products to the group, with their inclusion in the National Social Security Institute (INSS).

Samuel Candundo also said that with this move, the forecast is to reach a target of 2 million families in the National Institute of Social Security by 2030.
