The province of Luanda participated in the Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Union of Portuguese-Speaking Capital Cities (UCCLA), held on Monday, 24, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.The meeting marked the beginning of the 41st General Assembly of the UCCLA and aimed to approve motions in accordance with the agenda set for the session.
The meeting, which took place at the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, was attended by the governor of the province of Luanda, Luís Nunes.According to a note sent to JA Online, the 41st General Assembly of UCCLA focuses on strengthening cooperation between member cities, exchanging good practices in urban management and promoting joint projects aimed at the sustainable development of Portuguese-speaking communities.
Luanda’s participation reaffirms the importance of the Angolan capital on the international stage and its commitment to the integration and modernization of urban services.
