The secretaries-general of the Parliamentary Forum of the CIRGL carried out a guided visit to the National Assembly, 20th, during which they had the opportunity to see the facilities of the clinical services supporting the parliamentary community. To the delegates of the 15th Plenary Assembly, the director of Health, Hygiene and Safety at Work, Nilda Serpa, presented the area and explained how the available services, considered to be of the highest level, operate.The space has a pharmacy, laboratory, observation room, three consulting rooms, a blood collection room for serving MPs, parliamentary staff and others, such as outsourced companies, agents of the Parliamentary Protection Unit and visitors. In addition, there is an ambulance service for transporting seriously ill patients, in case of emergency, to referral hospitals.
The tour also included a visit to the radio and TV studios, as well as the podcast studio, equipped with cutting-edge technology. These services are preparing to open to the public, with an initial broadcast scheduled for six hours a day.
