Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, was received this Saturday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace in New Delhi by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, as part of his first official visit to the Asian country.
João Lourenço received a special salute with 21 gunshots and a Guard of Honour upon arriving at the Rashtrapati Bhavan courtyard.
The President of the Republic was accompanied by the First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenço. The meeting was also attended by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
On Friday, Angola and India strengthened their cooperation ties with the signing of three new agreements in the areas of Health, Agriculture and Culture.
