Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, thanked his Gabonese counterpart, Brice Oligui Nguema, for his gesture in favor of Angolan citizens who were serving sentences in that Central African country. “We will try to send the appropriate means to take them back to their families,” assured the Angolan statesman in statements to the press, as part of an official visit to Gabon.
As reported in its press edition this Monday, seven Angolan fishermen imprisoned in that country were released for practices that violated local laws.
