Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of State and Chief of the Military Household of the President of the Republic, Francisco Furtado, swore in, this Monday, the general officers appointed this month by President João Lourenço. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Press Centre of the Presidency of the Republic (CIPRA) in Luanda.
On the occasion, Francisco Furtado stressed that the act represents the appreciation of the cadres involved in the process of rejuvenation and continuity in the defence of the ideals of the Angolan nation.
He asked those sworn in to take into account the increased responsibilities in order to exercise them in the best possible way, taking into account their vast experience and long careers.
Francisco Furtado reiterated the importance of continuous training of cadres, especially in the adaptation and use of technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
