Africa-Press – Angola. At least three South Korean companies expressed interest in investing in the Angolan market on Wednesday in Seoul, specifically in the areas of solid waste management and its conversion into energy, solar panel manufacturing, and education.

A press release sent reports the desire announced during a meeting with Angola’s ambassador to that Asian country, Sianga Abílio.

The group of businessmen included the vice president of Boguk Enertec, Oh-Sik Kwon, the president of Giventech Co, Chang Han Kim, and the representative of Gyeongkuk National University, Heun-Jin Kwon.

The Angolan diplomat thanked the South Korean companies for their interest and recommended that they formalize their intentions so that they could be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Sianga Abílio suggested that interested parties send delegations to Angola for a fact-finding mission with the relevant sectors, with a view to preparing feasibility studies and that the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in Seoul would be available to provide the necessary support.
