The minister made the remarks during a meeting with the President of the Economic and Social Council, Bob Rae, recognizing the role of ECOSOC as the central UN body for coordinating economic and social policies, including monitoring the 2030 Agenda.

Maria Bragança expressed Angola’s willingness to continue sharing experiences within the context of ECOSOC and reinforced the country’s interest in capacity-building, technical cooperation and interregional dialogue initiatives promoted within the Council.
