Africa-Press – Angola. The director of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (INAPEM), Ana Celeste, assured on Tuesday (26) in Luanda that the institution is committed to promoting strategic initiatives aimed at national economic development.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop on the evolution of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Angola, as part of INAPEM’s 33rd anniversary, she emphasized that their progress largely reflects the country’s own economic development trajectory.
According to her, this period has been a journey that combines significant advances with persistent challenges, challenges that require consistent public policies, an increasingly favorable business environment, and, above all, close coordination between the State, the private sector, and civil society.
The manager believes it is important to continue identifying obstacles and discussing solutions, as well as outlining perspectives that can transform ideas into concrete actions.
“Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises don’t just represent numbers and statistics; they represent dreams, families, communities, and vast growth potential for Angola,” she said.
She also emphasized that every entrepreneur who successfully opens, consolidates, and expands their business is an active agent in the country’s development, and it is important to create the conditions for these entrepreneurs to thrive.
