Africa-Press – Angola. The General Director of the Catoca Mining Society, Benedito Paulo Manuel, highlighted on Tuesday in Luanda the importance of the “Expo Catoca 30 Years” as a milestone that has boosted Angola’s development over the past three decades.

Delivering welcome remarks during the opening of the event, which brings together more than 60 companies and involved investments exceeding one billion kwanzas, he noted that the now-consolidated institution is a global enterprise, the result of the vision and commitment of all those who pioneered this history.

“We’ll be here for three days, and during this time, what will be revealed is the Catoca World, and this world is not restricted to the Mining Society, but encompasses the guardianship, the community, the government, suppliers, sponsors, academies, and all those who honor us with their presence” he stated.

More than the diamonds, zircons, and pyrope that we will proudly display at the event, our greatest exposure is the Angolan people, dignified and benefited by the value generated by the company’s diamonds.

The event, held under the motto “Here, where diamonds meet the community,” will feature institutional and technological exhibitions, thematic panels, conferences, business networking sessions, and cultural presentations.
