Africa-Press – Angola. The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSMJ) announced on Wednesday (17) that the trial of the case No. 811/25-D, also known as the “Hotel Diamond Black” case, begins on Thursday (18) in Luanda, at the Dona Ana Joaquina Court, in Luanda.
According to the institution, 35 citizens are listed as defendants, including 11 Chinese citizens, 1 Ugandan, and 23 Angolans, accused by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of illegal gambling.
They are also accused of fraudulent gambling, computer forgery, criminal conspiracy, money laundering, currency retention, qualified tax fraud, and obstruction of justice.
