Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan capital will host the first Angola-Netherlands Business Forum and B2B Business Partnerships from October 6th to 10th this year.

This forum will bring together Angolan and Dutch companies operating primarily in the poultry, horticulture, and logistics sectors.

The event is the result of a comprehensive effort by both governments to deepen economic ties between the two countries, enabling the sharing of experience accumulated by Dutch companies in areas such as agro-industry, logistics, and sustainable production, according to a press release accessed on Tuesday.

In turn, the Dutch are seeking lasting partnerships with Angolan companies to develop solutions adapted to the local context.

The Forum, which will also mark the opening of the Angola-Netherlands Agricultural Trade Mission, aims to build resilient value chains, improve food systems, and unlock new business opportunities through innovation and joint investment.

The initiative by the Consulate General of Angola in Rotterdam also aims to create a conducive environment for leaders in these sectors to present their perspectives on market trends, innovation, and opportunities for collaboration.

Diplomatic relations between Angola and the Netherlands are strong and characterized by economic and social partnership, with the European country being one of the first to recognize Angola after its independence in 1975.

The two nations continue to deepen their ties, focusing on bilateral trade, Dutch investment in Angola, and cooperation on issues of common interest.
