Africa-Press – Angola. Thde football star Lionel Messi is part of the Argentine national team that will face Angola on the 14th, at the 11 de Novembro stadium in Luanda, the vice-president of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Paulo Magueijo, confirmed on Wednesday.
Speaking at the press conference where the FAF announced organizational aspects of the match, within the scope of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of National Independence, to be marked on November 11th, the official said that the team also includes star player Nicolás Otamendi, in addition to other international players.
Paulo Magueijo said that Argentina is expected to arrive in the country on the 13th, with a delegation composed of 84 individuals including players, coaching staff and officials, and will remain in Angola for up to 48 hours after the friendly match.
This confirmation of the presence of the captain of the reigning world champions comes just days after the Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, guaranteed the same, based on an agreement with the Argentine Football Federation.
At the press conference, the FAF announced that it will provide 48,000 tickets for the match at the stadium with the capacity of 50,000 supporters.
According to the official, access to the general stands of the stadium costs between 1,000 and 2,500 kwanzas. Tickets for the VIP stand cost between three million and five million kwanzas, and are available from Saturday (8), with points of sale at the federation headquarters and at the Cidadela Desportiva stadium.
