Africa-Press – Angola. Parliament members from Lunda-Sul Province, on Friday in Saurimo, expressed happiness with the portfolio of regional development projects included in the State Budget for 2026.
Speaking to the press at the end of a meeting with the governor of the Lunda-Sul municipality, Daniel Neto, the coordinator of the MPs representing the province in the national assembly, Segunda Uugangi, highlighted the access roads, schools, hospitals, and the requalification of some municipalities that could boost development.
He stressed that the presented structural projects contributed to what was expected and will have a positive impact on people’s lives, contributing to the improvement of their living conditions.
The official emphasized that access roads enable development, hence the need for intervention, particularly in the municipalities of Alto Chicapa, Xassengue, Luma Cassai, Muriege and Chiluage, due to its high levels of poor conditions.
According to the parliamentary, the meeting with the governor served to receive detailed information on the portfolio projects.
We recognize that the General State Budget (OGE) for Lunda-Sul has registered a significant increase, which contributes to the implementation of some social impact projects.
