Africa-Press – Angola. Ambassador of Guinea-Bissau, Apolinário de Carvalho, highlighted on Friday the importance and economic potential of Angola, which is why he has been mobilizing businesspeople from his country to invest in Angola.
Apolinário de Carvalho made these remarks to the press at the end of his meeting with the outgoing governor of Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto.
On that occasion, he stressed that the embassy has been sensitizing investors from his country to promote investment exchange in order to contribute to the development of Angola.
Guinean dilomat added that currently many Angolan economic operators are investing in Guinea-Bissau, in partnership with other Guinean businesspeople who are in Luanda, in the sectors of civil construction, commerce, energy and water, among other areas.
He also said that in addition to identifying potential areas for investment in Lunda-Sul, he plans to meet and engage in dialogue with the Guinean community, within the framework of local governance, to understand their problems and regularize administrative procedures with the Angolan government.
