Africa-Press – Angola. The Angola-United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Forum highlighted this Wednesday, in Luanda, the growing interest and potential of Angolan entrepreneurs in investing in the Arab market, considered highly competitive and endowed with vast financing resources and strategic partnerships.

In statements to the press, alongside the forum, the president of the Angola-UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bráulio Matias, stated that national investors have great advantages in expanding their businesses to the United Arab Emirates, where they find solid banks, investment funds, and leading companies in various sectors.

He added that more than 200 Angolan entrepreneurs already operate in Dubai, while studies are underway for expansion into the Abu Dhabi market, recognized for its strength in the agribusiness and real estate sectors.

Regarding Emirates investment in Angola, Bráulio Matias indicated that more than 10 UAE companies are already operating in the country, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral economic relations.

In turn, the head of the UAE Trade Office, Nhayan Aldhaheri, reported that the volume of UAE investment in Angola has grown from USD 2.5 billion to USD 6 billion, reflecting confidence in the Angolan business environment.

He stated that his country is ready to support all investors, both public and private, assuring the UAE’s readiness to facilitate the integration of Angolan entrepreneurs into its markets.

According to the organization, the Forum aims to promote business dialogue, identify new investment opportunities, and support the internationalization of Angolan companies, strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

This initiative is part of efforts to strengthen Angola-UAE strategic partnerships, aiming to create an increasingly robust and attractive business environment for national and foreign investors.
