Africa-Press – Angola. A group of national and international businesspeople, as well as representatives from Chambers of Commerce, are visiting the province of Lunda-Norte for three days to identify potential investment areas, particularly in agriculture, hospitality, and manufacturing.
The businesspeople arrived in the province early Friday morning at the invitation of governor Filomena Miza. They will visit the municipalities of Dundo, Mussungue, LoĢvua, and Cambulo.
A courtesy meeting with Governor Miza is scheduled beforehand, during which she is expected to present the province’s economic potential and the current state of the business environment in the region.
The businesspeople’s visit to Lunda-Norte is part of the local government’s program to attract investments and boost the agriculture, commerce, hospitality, tourism, catering, and service sectors.
Lunda-Norte has 19 municipalities and a population of over one million.
