Africa-Press – Angola. Angola hosted on Wednesday (3), in Luanda, the 8th General Assembly of the African Ombudsmen and Mediators Association (AOMA), which tooke place under the theme “Consolidation of Transparency, Efficiency and Sustainability”.
The information is expressed in a note from the Ombudsman’s Office, informing that, in addition to the opening ceremony of the Assembly, the program includes a series of lectures that address “The role of the Ombudsman in Africa”.
The event, in addition to bringing together Ombudsman and Mediators from Africa, also brings together members of sovereign bodies, diplomats, governmental organizations, associations and academics to strengthen cooperation, good governance, promotion and social justice.
AOMA is an organization that promotes good governance and citizens’ rights in Africa through institutions, for example, the Ombuds’s Office.
The association aims to promote good governance and defend the rights of citizens in Africa.
