Angola Joins Russia-Africa Strategic Partnership Meeting

Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister Téte António is participating in the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Russia-Africa Strategic Partnership, which started Friday in Cairo, Egypt, to strengthen political and economic dialogue between Russia and African countries.

The meeting aims to monitor and promote the implementation of the 2023–2026 Action Plan of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, established after the first edition of the meeting in 2019.

The event, which is being held for the first time on African soil, will focus on developing cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, and the economy, including opportunities to deepen bilateral and multilateral relations between Russia and Africa.

More than 50 African countries are expected to participate in the event, in addition to representatives from African regional organizations.

The main areas of Russian-African cooperation are defined in the Partnership Forum Action Plan for the period 2023-2026 and include security, energy, trade, education, science, and culture.
