Africa-Press – Angola. At least 63 million kwanzas was the business volume generated during the agricultural and fishing products fair held from the 18th to the 22nd of this month in Cabassango, Liambo municipality, Cabinda province.
The provincial secretary of Commerce, Hospitality, and Tourism, Odete da Cruz, revealed the amount and emphasized that more 5,000 people attended the event.
Da Cruz added that over 100 tons of various agricultural products were sold during the fair, especially bananas, cassava, peanuts, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and sweet potatoes.
The event brought together over 300 vendors from various agricultural and fishing associations and cooperatives from Cabinda province’s 10 municipalities.
