Angola to Hold Seven Public Job Tenders in may

Africa-Press – Angola. Angola holds, as of next May, public tenders for external admission in three ministerial departments and an equal number of public institutes and at the Luanda Science Centre (CCL), to fill 661 vacancies.

These are the ministries of Culture, Tourism and Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, as well as the National Coffee Institute of Angola (INCA), the Geographic and Cadastral Institute of Angola (IGCA) and the National Institute of Roads of Angola (INEA).

The information was provided on Tuesday, in Luanda, by the president of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National School of Public Policy Administration (ENAPP), Sandra Alves, during the first National Meeting of Women Presidents of the Boards of Directors.

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS), as part of the closing of the March/Women’s Days.

On the other hand, Sandra Alves highlighted that, at this time, seven other public entrance tenders are underway to fill 231 vacancies, referring to the year 2025.

She added that, on Thursday, the certification of candidates filled in vacancies at the Angolan Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) will take place.

On another note, the she spoke of ENAPP, which is committed to training 20,000 staff annually for the central, local, direct and indirect administration of the state.

She revealed that, last year, the institution exceeded its target, having trained 27,706 staff.

‘This result translates more than numbers. It translates institutional capacity, commitment to administrative reform and, above all, serious investment in human capital, commitment to building a more qualified and fair public administration, but also the political trust placed in ENAPP’, she emphasized.

Regarding the meeting, Sandra Alves said that it reaffirms the strategic role of women in the governance of institutions and aims to promote critical reflection, sharing of good practices and development of skills aimed at valuing female leadership in corporate governance spaces.

She called on the presidents of the boards of directors to be active agents of transformation, contributing to raising standards and consolidating a new culture of governance, corresponding to presidential trust with concrete action and tangible results.

The 1st National Meeting of Presidents of the Board of Directors (ENPCA) is a promotion of MAPTSS, through the National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP).

The event takes place under the motto ‘women in corporate governance: leading, deciding and transforming’, serving for strategic reflection, exchange of experience and establishing female commitment in the highest decision-making bodies.
