Africa-Press – Angola. Angola’s Minister of Defense, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Nation, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, on Monday announced the completion, in May 2028, of the works on the new military hospitals in the provinces of Cabinda, Huambo, Moxico and Luanda.
The minister provided this information to the press, at the end of an assessment visit to the works of the new Cabinda Regional Military Hospital, which began in 2022 and which already have a physical and financial execution of around 38 and 36 percent, respectively.
According to the government official, along with this infrastructure, work is also underway on the second block of the main hospital of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), in Luanda.
He guaranteed that the bidding for health units underway across the country has gained new momentum in recent days, with the allocation of more resources.
In addition to the construction of hospital infrastructure, the minister said that the training component for professionals who must ensure the functioning of these projects has been taken care of.
