Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Table Tennis Federation (FATM) will hold, from 9:00 am, the Individual Open Tournament, called “Olympic”, for both sexes, at the High Performance Center of Angola (CARA), in Cidadela Desportiva.
The event is part of the celebrations of the Olympic week, which is celebrated every year, from the 16th to the 23rd of this month, revealed the president of FATM, Manuel Morais. According to the competition’s regulations, active athletes, ex-practitioners, lovers of the sport and the general public can participate.
Regarding the registrations, they are proceeding at a good pace. To register for the tournament, interested parties must go to the institution’s secretariat by tomorrow.
“They can also do it through WhatsApp number 923601180 or by email [email protected], during normal business hours. It’s free”, assured the leader.
The number one head of the sport in the country assured that, from an organizational point of view, everything is ready to start the event.
“We have all the sports equipment. Tables, balls and rackets. The judges have also been notified. The logistical and technical conditions are also taken care of, in order to guarantee a successful start”, he concluded.
