Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of national Defense and veterans of the homeland, Joao Ernesto dos Santos on Tuesday in Luanda, said the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) remain in permanent preparation and modernization to secure defense of the borders, democratic institutions and national sovereign.
The minister noted that in the international context marked by geopolitical and geostrategic changes, the FAA follows the modernization process that is observed in the Armed Forces of other countries.
‘‘Our forces are in permanent preparation, in constant modernization and in conditions to respond to any emerging situation at our borders‘‘, said the minister.
He added that the growth of Angola and the 50 years of independence represents an important time for the consolidation of peace and the strengthening of its defense institution.
