Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first municipal secretary in Saurimo (Lunda-Sul), Adérito Cahanga, appealed Tuesday, to political activists for greater vigilance against slanderous actions.
The politician made these considerations at the opening of the methodological training seminar for leaders of the party’s base organizations and coordinators of monitoring groups in urban, suburban and rural areas, as part of the preparation of the review assemblies and renewal of mandates.
He highlighted that, within the framework of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), the city of Saurimo benefited from numerous works, with emphasis on the construction of schools, health centers, asphalting of streets, basic sanitation, among others, aiming to improve life families, but there are unidentified people who, at all costs, “destroy in the dead of night everything that is being built”.
For this reason, he reinforced the appeal to the militant mass in order to mobilize young people with a view to preserving public goods made available to the people, promoting social harmony, entrepreneurship, boosting culture and boosting the economy at all levels.
“The current context demands more responsibility and creativity from all activists so that the recommended objectives are achieved”, he concluded.
Adérito Cahanga also said that other priorities for the party, in the municipality of Saurimo, are related to the preparation of review assemblies and renewal of mandates, as well as the political and ideological training of members.
The act was witnessed by the second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda-Sul, Octávio Alberto, and distinguished members of the MPLA Municipal Committee.
