Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the ruling MPLA in the province of Cuanza-Sul, Narciso Benedito, called on Tuesday for greater unity and internal cohesion based on the party’s ideals.
Speaking at the 6th ordinary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Cuanza-Sul, stated that unity and cohesion build stability, guarantee continuity, and strengthen the moral authority of the party’s organizational structures.
He indicated that loyalty is much more than formal fidelity, as a political stance that translates into an active commitment to the ideas, principles, and strategic objectives of the MPLA.
The meeting reviewed and approved the adjustment of the composition of the Ethics and Audit Discipline Commission (CDEA) of the party’s Provincial Committee, the memorandum on the organization and functioning of the MPLA’s specialized committees, among others.
The event was witnessed by the Coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the MPLA in the province of Cuanza-Sul, Carla Leitão.
