Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA) in Uíge, Gertrudes Gastão, reaffirmed Friday, the call to strengthen unity and cohesion within the women’s organisation.
This bet will improve the performance of OMA in Uíge, explained the official at the opening of the V ordinary plenary session of the Provincial Committee of OMA in Uíge.
She also asked the women of the organization to be activists for the moralization of society, making moral, patriotic, civic, ethical and cultural principles and values prevail.
Gertrudes Gastão also defended active participation in the organisation’s activities, with a view to strengthening the party.
The meeting was witnessed by the coordinator of the monitoring group of the National Secretariat of the OMA for the province of Uíge, Maria da Conceição Ambriz.
During the meeting, the reports of the activities carried out during the first semester and the plan of activities to be developed in the second semester, among other subjects, were appreciated.
