Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The MPLA’s first provincial secretary in Benguela, Lu\u00eds Nunes, urged party militants to be alert to attacks by rogue groups, which have been violating the democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking on Saturday, in the municipality of Balombo, during the mass political act, he stressed that we are living in a democratic moment, in which respect for difference is imperative.<\/p>\n

For this reason, the leaders, members, militants, sympathizers and friends of the MPLA, having full knowledge and respect for the values \u200b\u200bof democracy, guide their conduct by respect, dignity and patriotism, contrary to those who, without concrete proposals and with unknown works, they have desperately attacked the MPLA, making abusive use of slander and the destruction of reality, “the actions of those who have no arguments”.<\/p>\n

According to the party leader in Benguela, the MPLA will let them speak for themselves, as it has its attention focused on several priorities, aiming to guarantee the good and the full satisfaction of the populations.<\/p>\n

At this stage of the pre-campaign, he said, the MPLA is taking the message of hope to all localities, a mobilization that has received a lot of support from voters, which clearly demonstrates that the party is the only political force with structure and that guarantees good prospects, capable of producing future happiness for all.<\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Nunes also considered that the MPLA is a party of great challenges and achievements, and with this bravery and characteristic that sustains the freedom and sovereignty of the people.<\/p>\n

“Together with the same people, we conquer and solidify peace and reconciliation, trusting in the present and strength in the same people. We are preparing an inclusive and sustainable future for all citizens”, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

According to Lu\u00eds Nunes, more than promising, the MPLA has the culture and pragmatism to carry out the actions, proof of this is what happens in the municipality of Balombo, where works to improve the public road today link the municipal headquarters to the communes, villages and villages, as well as public lighting on the streets of the municipality, a fact that promotes a new image to the locality.<\/p>\n

In the field of creating opportunities for youth and the development of culture and recreation, the MPLA leader pointed out that several technical and professional training programs are underway to provide support and employment for young people, projects that end with the delivery of kits professionals, in the context of the fight against unemployment.<\/p>\n

He urged all youth to roll up their sleeves, in order to contribute with the workforce, in the local growth strategy, aiming to guarantee the economic, social and cultural development of the province.<\/p>\n

He reiterated to all militants to remain united and cohesive, from the bottom to the top, in order to fulfill the political agenda and support the leader Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, for the victory in the 2022 elections.<\/p>\n

Luciana Moma, MPLA municipal secretary, in Balombo, made it known that the people in the constituency “are duly mobilized to exercise the right to vote and place the greatest confidence in the party”.<\/p>\n

Training of electoral agents in Lunda-Sul<\/p>\n

MPLA leaders and cadres in Lunda-Sul province participated, yesterday, in Saurimo, in a one-day seminar on the electoral process, which trained 130 agents to work in mobilizing communities.<\/p>\n

For the training action, held at the party’s provincial headquarters, the promoters had three local lecturers, to address the topics of “electoral logistics”, “practical case studies” and “electoral agents”, guided by three trainers.<\/p>\n

In the opening session, the first MPLA provincial secretary in Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto, considered it crucial to hold the event in order to improve the skills of the trainees, in order to represent the party in the polling stations in the general elections scheduled for 24 August. .<\/p>\n

He emphasized that “elections are won through hard and responsible work by all party structures”. For Daniel Neto, electoral agents are the “main vehicles for the dissemination of the MPLA’s messages” to the communities, during the electoral campaign, therefore the action must convince the citizen to vote in favor of the party leader.<\/p>\n
