Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Kilamba Multipurpose Pavilion, in Luanda, is on fire. The venue hosted today the opening of the 18th Edition of the National Holiday Camp for University Students (CANFEU 2022), in an act guided by the president of the MPLA, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o.<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the slogan “University youth – united, let’s participate in the 2022 general elections”, the event expects to welcome over 1,000 young university students from the 18 provinces and abroad.<\/p>\n

CANFEU is a national event, organized by JMPLA, whose scope of intervention is forged in volunteering and solidarity actions, promoting education for citizenship as well as cultural and patriotic exaltation.<\/p>\n

This 18th edition takes place in the context of elections and presents itself as a space for unity, reflection, citizenship and youth dialogue, work, recreation, sport and culture and, therefore, for the exchange and sharing of experiences, which brings together youth university students from all over the country and students from abroad.<\/p>\n

The event is a privileged space that involves university students in socially useful tasks, through their engagement in projects oriented towards reconstruction and national development, solidarity, with a view to recovering social, economic and environmental infrastructures, to reduce of current needs, providing the well-being of youth and populations in general.<\/p>\n

With this 18th edition, JMPLA intends to continue mobilizing Angolan youth for their affirmation and commitment as a decisive factor in the realization of the main challenges facing the Angolan nation.<\/p>\n
