Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The traditional feast of \u201cNossa Senhora do Monte\u201d, in the city of Lubango, opens today, August 10th. This is edition number 120, which this year will carry out various activities, with emphasis on Expo-Hu\u00edla and a cattle fair.<\/b><\/p>\n

In 2018, more than three million dollars were traded at the 26th edition of Expo-Hu\u00edla. During the largest fair in southern Angola, 180 stands represented by 400 companies, both national and foreign, maintained contacts and closed deals. In the 2019 edition, the last one before the suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which devastated the whole world, the insurance company Saham Angola won the distinction of best “stand” in the insurance category, at Expo-Hu\u00edla. Saham Angola had the privileged location at the entrance of the fair, before all the exhibitors, as a strategic initiative with an innovative concept, the “stand” of Saham Angola Seguros, which was one of the most visited during the days of certainly.<\/p>\n

Under the leadership of the CEO, Philippe Alliali, Saham Angola Seguros, in 2019, stood out with a differentiated mobility concept, which met customers and potential customers, parking the “Seguro na Via” mobile van and the “Seguro na Via” \u201d outside the pavilion and right at the entrance to Expo-Hu\u00edla. It should be noted that the prize was awarded taking into account the originality and the flow of visitors.<\/p>\n

Agriculture, services, banking, mining and the real estate sector generally dominate Expo-Hu\u00edla. It is the understanding of the Hu\u00edla authorities that the largest business exchange in southern Angola is also one of the main ways of boosting the province’s economy.<\/p>\n

At a time when the eyes are on national production, the organizers of Expo-Hu\u00edla believe that the province has the potential to occupy a prominent place. Alongside Expo-Hu\u00edla, the festivals of Nossa Senhora do Monte are marked by the cattle fair and are a business opportunity for members of the Cooperative of Cattle Creators of Southern Angola (CCGSA), focused on programs to combat hunger and to poverty.<\/p>\n

The Hu\u00edla Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Association (AAPCIL) is the organizer of the event.<\/p>\n
