Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The APN wants to bet on the implementation of pharmaceutical industries in order to improve the medical and drug care of populations.<\/b><\/p>\n

The intention was expressed by the provincial secretary of that party in Bi\u00e9, Ernesto Calungoe, during a meeting in the municipality of Catabola, 52 kilometers east of the city of Cuito.<\/p>\n

For the realization of this project, the party led by Quintino Moreira intends to cooperate with the private sector.<\/p>\n

Despite advances in the Health sector, with the construction of new hospital units and the recruitment of more technicians, Ernesto Calungoe considered that there is a lack of pharmaceutical services.<\/p>\n

The politician reiterated that his party will bet on improving basic sanitation and public preventive health, to put an end to malaria, as well as raising awareness of the population in order to carry out periodic “check ups”, to reduce mortality from endemic diseases. .<\/p>\n

Mobilization<\/b><\/p>\n

In the act of sensitizing voters in the municipal market of Catabola, Ernesto Calungo expressed satisfaction with the way in which the population was received.<\/p>\n

The occasion, he said, was used to pass on information about the government program and the APN electoral manifesto.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the party failed to elect any deputy, either nationally or through provincial circles. At the national level, it had 22,471 votes, corresponding to 0.51 percent of the votes. In Bi\u00e9, it achieved 1,707 (0.61%).<\/p>\n

For the elections on the 24th of this month, the province of Bi\u00e9 has 783,684 registered voters, who will exercise their right in 861 polling stations.<\/p>\n

Fight Against Corruption <\/b><\/p>\n

The provincial secretary of the APN in Bengo, Bruno Gaspar, promised, yesterday, in Caxito, that his party will bet on the fight against corruption, if it wins the elections on the 24th of this month.<\/p>\n

Bruno Gaspar made the promise during a campaign to raise awareness of the vote of the sellers of the Cawango market, but it did not help how this intention would be materialized.<\/p>\n

The politician also guaranteed that the APN would, in the event of an electoral victory, give more jobs to young people and provide better health services to Angolans.<\/p>\n

APN’s activity began with a walk through the streets of the city of Caxito and culminated in the Cawango market, where propaganda material was distributed and clarifications were made on the correct way to vote.<\/p>\n

Ending regional asymmetries, granting credit, with subsidized interest, for the development of agriculture, fisheries, agriculture and livestock and micro, small and medium-sized companies, are other actions included in the party’s electoral manifesto. In the 2017 elections, the APN obtained, in the province of Bengo, 637 votes, corresponding to 0.62 percent, falling in the last position.<\/p>\n

For the election of 24 August, the province of Bengo has the registration of 260,468 voters, 330 polling stations and 526 polling stations.<\/p>\n
