Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the PRS, Benedito Daniel, said yesterday in U\u00edge that, if he wins the elections on the 24th of this month, he will create a plan for the construction of a national road network that will interconnect the national roads and the primary, secondary and tertiary.<\/b><\/p>\n

The also candidate for President of the Republic, who was speaking at a political act in which hundreds of militants and supporters of his party participated, said that, today, there is only traffic on the roads that connect the country’s capital to the provincial headquarters. Circulation between provincial and municipal or communal seats is almost impossible, because the roads are degraded, referring that this prevents the harmonious development of several areas.<\/p>\n

For the province of U\u00edge, Benedito Daniel promised to build the road that connects the city of U\u00edge to Mbanza Kongo, in Zaire, as well as the roads that connect all the communal centers of U\u00edge. According to the politician, the idea is to guarantee rural development and encourage agricultural production. “In addition to this, we will also strengthen public transport fleets to allow greater circulation of people and goods”, he guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Respect For National Culture<\/b><\/p>\n

The candidate for President of the Republic by the PRS said that there are no people without cultural identity. As Angola is a country with customs and customs, Benedito Daniel promised, in the event of an electoral victory, he will ensure that the national languages \u200b\u200bare studied in primary and secondary schools, as well as ensure that all the uses and customs of the population are respected.<\/p>\n

Regarding religious freedom, the politician defended that it should fully function, whatever the origin of his religion. “PRS will allow all citizens to follow their religious conviction without interference,” he assured.<\/p>\n

PRS activists and sympathizers participating in the political act expressed their satisfaction with the party leader’s pronouncements. Sebasti\u00e3o Dombaxi said that the party’s governance program is based on three main axes: the organization of a federated state, the fight against social asymmetries and the sharing of the country’s wealth. The militant considers that the bet was well targeted, since it reflects what the population lives.<\/p>\n

For Dombaxi, Angola has many natural resources but the entire population has not benefited. “With federalism, it will be possible for each province to develop according to its natural resources and the population will also benefit,” he said.<\/p>\n

Manuel dos Santos Jos\u00e9, a militant who left Quitexe, 40 kilometers from the city of U\u00edge, said he returned to his municipality with a clear idea and in the hope that his party would bring changes in the lives of the population. “I listened carefully to our president’s speech and I believe that the path to decentralized development is the one that the candidate has traced”, he asserted.<\/p>\n

The PRS was the third most voted party in 2017, behind the MPLA, UNITA and CASA-CE. The party led by Benedito Daniel had 1.35 percent of the votes and elected two deputies. In the province of U\u00edge, it was the penultimate most voted, with 1.40% of the votes, just ahead of the APN, with 0.80%.<\/p>\n
