Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The third vice-president of the Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO) defended yesterday in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire province, that while the region is a World Cultural Heritage site it should serve as a basis for the country’s development.<\/b><\/p>\n

Maria Dorca Mundende, who spoke to the press after leading a march through the main streets of the historic city of Mbanza Kongo, former capital of the Kingdom of Congo, defended the need to improve health services and improve the quality of education in the region, with with a view to achieving the sustainable development desired by Angolans.<\/p>\n

“We are here, in the city of Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire, to finish the electoral campaign, transmitting a message of joy, peace and development, as it is time to start building the foundations for the development of Angola”, he stressed. .<\/p>\n

For this reason, he said, if P-NJANGO wins the August 24 General Elections, it proposes to build quality schools, including a new public university with diversified courses, since education is the basis for the development of any society.<\/p>\n

“We want to better value this city, Cultural Heritage of Humanity, through the exploitation of its potential. P-NJANGO, as a party based on the principles of justice, equality and freedom, proposes, if it wins the elections, to promote a teaching of quality, health and well-being in this city of Mbanza Kongo\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

The third vice-president of P-NJANGO added that one cannot talk about sustainable development in Angola without a concrete commitment to the education process of children and young people: “Tomorrow begins with a concrete commitment to the quality of teaching and education of children and young people, because without fulfilling this premise, the question of who will be the doctor, teacher, or engineer tomorrow? Everything starts at the base, if it is poorly designed, everything else goes wrong\u201d.<\/p>\n

Makita Ndongala Nicolau, 26, candidate for deputy of this party to the National Assembly, said that the aim is to revitalize the hope of young people, in order to assume a leading role in the development of the nation.<\/p>\n

“We are here to invest in the training of young people, help them understand their role in society and get them out of the street, based on the principles of equality and social justice,” he said, while Benvindo Rafael, 31, a member of the P-NJANGO highlighted that concrete policies to support youth training led him to join the movement.<\/p>\n

According to the sympathizer and activist, the message of hope and motivation left by the party’s third vice-president strengthens his belief: “The problems of youth in this region and in the country that I would like to see resolved, in the first place, are unemployment and training, the latter must be revised, so that it has better quality. This march represents a form of propaganda so that the population becomes aware of P-NJANGO\u201d.<\/p>\n
