Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>This morning, the funeral procession of the ex-President of the Republic, Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos, took place, which left the family residence in Miramar, towards Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica, for the State funeral.<\/b><\/p>\n

The funeral urn with the body of Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos toured various parts of the capital. During the procession, the scene was one of sadness, commotion, tears and also applause.<\/p>\n

Several citizens closely witnessed the funeral procession that followed to Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica, where public tributes with the body present are already taking place.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos died at the age of 79, on the 8th of July, in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bin the Kingdom of Spain, due to illness. The Former Angolan Statesman ruled Angola from 1979 to 2017.<\/p>\n
