Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of State for the Social Area, Carolina Cerqueira, said this Saturday, in Luanda, that the former President of the Republic, Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos, deserves all the honors of State.<\/b><\/p>\n

Carolina Cerqueira, who was speaking at Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica where the tributes to Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos are taking place, highlighted that it was “a moment of great pain and consternation, but also of feeling that we are honoring a great leader, a great President”.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Ad\u00e3o de Almeida, said that it was a moment when the Angolan people would be able to pay homage to Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos.<\/p>\n

In Pra\u00e7a da Rep\u00fablica, the urn with the body of the former President is covered with the Angolan flag and was placed in a tent where it is surrounded by wreaths of flowers.<\/p>\n
