Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Artist’s Professional Portfolio Commission delivered a Portfolio to musicians Raul Tollingas, Lolito da Paix\u00e3o, Bucho, Yark Spin, Bernas, Djanira Mercedes and KD on Sunday night, at the Bar da Unidade Africana, in Miramar, as the document which formally enables them to exercise artistic activity, taking advantage of the performance of the Dizue Dietu Complex, in that cultural space.
\n<\/b>
\nThe act was led by Maneco Vieira Dias, chairman of the Professional Card Commission, who encouraged artists to request the document for the exercise of artistic activity, adding that the Commission is open for further clarification in person. The president also announced that a page on the Internet will be available in the coming days.<\/p>\n

Veteran and multi-instrumentalist Raul Tollingas, from Conjunto Dizue Dietu, was one of the beneficiaries who, despite being satisfied, left a message for the authorities. “It’s another document and thank you for the initiative, but now what I ask is that you don’t let us die, only with it there needs to be work”.<\/p>\n

It was visible that young instrumentalists are concerned with obtaining a professional card and the proof is the quick way in which they are gathering documents. Bucho Martins, percussionist, and Yark Spin, guitarist, were the other members of the formation, created by Il\u00eddio Br\u00e1s, who received the document from Maneco Vieira Dias, while Teddy Nsingui, Mias Galhetas, Mogue and Legalize have the processes in the conclusion.<\/p>\n

Yark Spin acknowledged that the process is in the initial phase and believes that the benefits will cover health, employability, credit and social security situations, adding that one of the disadvantages in the future is the fact that those who do not have a license will not be able to practice the profession, as a penalty.<\/p>\n

Bernas, a prominent percussionist, said he felt honored to receive the professional card, given by a great man of culture, Maneco Vieira Dias, in the presence of great and good musicians from different generations. “I hope that artists will join this process, as it is another step towards better protection of our class”.<\/p>\n

As happened on Sunday, the Artist’s Professional Portfolio Commission has taken advantage of cultural activities to deliver the document to the beneficiaries, as happened with the director Beto Cassua, the writer Lopito Feij\u00f3o and the musicians Calabeto, Carlos Lamartine, Chico Madne, Quintino, Lula da Paix\u00e3o, Concei\u00e7\u00e3o Diamante, Nikila de Sousa, Isidora Campos, Phathar Mak and Zeca Moreno.<\/p>\n

When presenting a balance of the entire process, Maneco Vieira Dias said that 35 portfolios had already been delivered, to artists linked to music, theater, plastic arts, dances, literature and other segments, “although 80 portfolios have already been issued”.<\/p>\n

The official assured that they are creating all the conditions for the portfolios to be delivered as soon as possible to artists who are outside the country’s capital.<\/p>\n

Lolito da Paix\u00e3o honors Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos<\/b><\/p>\n

In the final part of the song, the tribute is extended to other nationalists and artists, such as Agostinho Neto, Jonas Savimbi, Holden Roberto, M\u00e1rio Santiago, Kundi Paihama, Bang\u00e3o, Bell do Samba, Carlos Burity, Revelino, Jovem Le\u00e3o, David Z\u00e9, Artur Nunes, Urbano de Castro, Zecax, Mamukueno, Givago and Pascoal Cabuja.<\/p>\n

Lolito da Paix\u00e3o intends to follow in the footsteps of her father, Lulas da Paix\u00e3o, a renowned Angolan composer. Currently, he is the leader and vocalist of Banda Yetu, with passages and collaborations in various formations, especially Nguami Maka. An expert player and maker of the dikanza, as a composer he has works performed by singers such as Eddy Tussa, Yuri da Cunha and Puto Portugu\u00eas.<\/p>\n
