Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The commander of the North Military Region, Lieutenant General David Manuel Cavanda, defended, in the city of U\u00edge, a permanent preparation of the military, in order to respond to the demands of the present and the future.<\/b><\/p>\n

At the opening of the Second Period of Operational, Combative and Educational-Patriotic Preparation of the Year of Instruction 2022\/23, the official urged the military to redouble the security and combative surveillance system, so that order and tranquility are maintained in the North Region.<\/p>\n

The general officer, highlighted the importance of observing the laws and regulations in force in the country and in the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).<\/p>\n

On the other hand, David Manuel Cavanda spoke of the bet on improving sporting, cultural and other activities, with a view to increasing the physical and mental capacity of the Angolan Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

The period of operative and combative preparation comprises combative preparation classes, patriotic days, lectures on legal education, recreational and cultural activities, among others.<\/p>\n

The opening of the activity, last Thursday, 1 September, in the province, was attended by general officers, superiors, sergeants and soldiers from the Angolan Armed Forces.<\/p>\n
