Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, today expressed his condolences to the British people on the death, Thursday, of Queen Elizabeth II, signing the open condolence book at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Mission of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Luanda. .<\/b><\/p>\n

The Head of State, who went to the British Embassy accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Louren\u00e7o, greeted the United Kingdom Ambassador in office in the Angolan capital, Roger Stringer.<\/p>\n

In the book of condolences, the President of the Republic wrote:<\/p>\n

“On behalf of the Angolan Executive and myself, I offer to the People and Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland our deepest condolences on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, which took place yesterday in Scotland.”<\/p>\n

The seven-decade reign of Queen Elizabeth II forever marked the British people, which she served, contributing to their edification as a thriving nation, whose progress serves as a benchmark for all peoples globally.<\/p>\n
